We found a place called the Salvation Army Treatment Centre in Stellenbosh. They arranged for me to come for a orientation were they ask you a few simple questions to see if you really want to make the change and come clean. I spoke to a counselor and he said he would accept me anytime as he could see i wanted to change - which made me feel really good and made me want to change even more. They told me that i had to go through Stikland Hospital first for my detox which i was really cool with. So it was on, all the arrangements were made and all i had to do was wait for the call from the hospital. I decided to kick the turkey before going to Stikland which was really hard. I mean, any Heroin addict can tell you that. I did it without medication or anything - but it was not as bad as the previous time because when i decided to come clean i cut my dosage and tried using one a day which helped a lot, trust me.
